Our Mission

This is the home for Jewish organisations and members of the Jewish community who support Israel and seek a future for Israelis and Palestinians of safety, equality and freedom. 

This website and campaign are a bringing together of and building on two distinct initiatives that emerged since the Israeli general election at the end of 2022 and two existential crises for Israel that followed – an assault on democracy and the atrocities of 7 October and the ensuing conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iran:

Our Jewish Values

We are Jews who care about Israel, whose identities are bound up with Israel.

We want Israel to flourish as a homeland for the Jewish people and a democratic state that seeks to “ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants.” – as stated in Israel’s Declaration of Independence. We hold on to the vision of Israel and a Palestinian state one day existing side-by-side. 

We mourn the lives lost and the Israeli communities cruelly destroyed by Hamas terrorists on 7 October in the biggest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust. We continue to support Israelis recovering from that trauma and the many ensuing regional conflicts in the months and years since those atrocities.

We demand the return of all Israeli hostages, the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid for the people in Gaza, and an end to the war.

We urge moves towards regional diplomacy to bring lasting security, dignity and freedom to all Israelis and Palestinians.

We are deeply concerned that our community is facing unprecedented levels of antisemitism in the UK and around the world.

We acknowledge we often need to defend Israel from external attacks.

As part of supporting our community and defending Israel, we cannot be silent in the face of the threat from within, as Israel’s extremist government oversees ongoing death and destruction in Gaza, violence and displacement in the West Bank, and attempts to erode democracy and equality within Israel.

We must do all we can to support the work of those at the heart of this conflict, Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians, who are working to ensure a safe future for both peoples.
